Speak The Truth In Love and Not In Judgement

Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge law, you are not keeping it but sitting in judgment on it. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you - who are you to judge your neighbor? James 4:11-12 NIV
When we are disobedient, slanderous, prideful, we sit in judgement of God’s word. Lucifer was full of pride, wanted to be greater than God, and deceived 1/3 of the angels in heaven, whom also were thrown out of heaven.
What should we do? Speak the truth to one another in love and by God’s Word which is truth.
What’s the difference? You have a choice to speak against your brother or an opportunity to speak kind and honest truth to each other in love.
If God gives us a timely word for someone else, he will give us the right words to speak in love that will build up our brother at the right time. God protects our dignity.
If you present someone with truth in God‘s word, they have a choice to receive it or not. You were obedient in speaking the truth. Do not be the person who does not take the time for his brother or sister. Do not stand in the way of people receiving the truth because you would not speak it. Then you will be an error, for withholding the truth.
Ask yourself if what you are going to say is rooted in love.
