We Eat The Fruit Of Our Lips
Speak the Truth. Exercise Your Authority as a Believer.
God says to come boldly to His throne. Remind God of His word. His Word is truth. God is truth. God is Love.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16
Let’s be clear and not misinterpret. God has not forgotten His Word. He wants us to remember His Word. When we pray and speak His Word, we are bringing His word back to Him. This pleases Him. We are using our faith to speak truth to our Father and Creator. Truth is going full circle here. His words are for our benefit not His own. When we speak His word, we release those power bubbles of truth. God honors His word, and it is fulfilled.
As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:10-11
We can avoid a lot of trouble and heartache in life. When the Holy Spirit tells us not to say something, we must listen. Our words open doors in our lives. When our speech aligns with the Word of God, we open the door for God to operate in our life. The opposite happens when we say things that we should not.
We have what we say. These power bubbles of words will produce. There are very real physical manifestations of a person’s words. We are inviting what we say into our lives and our bodies. We speak it until it manifests. We will eat its fruit.
We put ourselves in a position to receive from God. Changing our minds and words changes everything. He speaks it. It exists. We hear it. We speak it. It goes back to God. It is a wonderful cycle.
For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say. John 12: 49-50
Now, when we say things that do not line up with the Word, that is the cycle that is put into motion. Eeeek! We just open the door for the enemy. There is that power of the tongue again.
We use our authority by saying what our Heavenly Father says. Nothing more and nothing less. This may be a new practice for some of us. That is completely ok! Start now. We are choosing now to walk in a higher level with God and show honor to Him. That is what matters!
For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and all are justified freely by his grace and through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24
We are to rise above by cooperating with God. Let’s get on the offense and not on the defense. We proactively use our authority.
Take control of the situation with the power and authority given to us by Jesus Christ. His sacrifice was not for nothing. We are endowed with power from on high. Keep in mind, we by ourselves are not powerful. We exercise this power and authority in the name of Jesus. Jesus defeated the devil when He died and was resurrected. You are not fighting but enforcing what Jesus has already done. The same way Satan likes to put lies in our minds over and over, is how we keep him defeated in our lives Speaking the word of God over and over in all truth.
We eat the fruit of our lips! Proverbs 2-3
