Write It Down
Sometimes the Lord will share some really profound things in our time with him. We don't always remember everything we hear. We're human; our brains have a limited capacity.
There is a scripture in Habakkuk 2:2 that says, "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it."
Write it down. Write down the word from God, the vision and desires of your heart, the dreams you have, or even just a simple scripture that the Lord speaks to you. Earlier today, a friend and I were discussing how powerful it is to write it down.
When you write it, you release it.
We have noticed in our ministry how beneficial it is to write. God has called many of us to write books. Writing a book is not just for your readers. When you take time to think, imagine, write, reread, and everything else that goes into writing a book, you are actually processing the content of the book. The words you write and meditate on go down into your heart. That has been life-changing for many of us especially when what we write is based on the Word of God.
God gives us an idea, something to write about. As we write and study the scriptures to validate what we are writing, we get so full of the Word of God, and find that we are able to overcome things that we have been dealing with. We are the ones changed through the process of writing for someone else's benefit.
Write it and release it!
